 Tallow absorbs quickly (usually within 60 seconds) and doesn't leave a greasy residue when applied to damp skin. The key is:

1. Use it on damp (not dry) skin
2. Start with a pea-sized amount
3. Press it in rather than rubbing vigorously

If your skin feels greasy, you're using too much. Cut the amount in half and see how that feels.

Tallow is deeply moisturising and helps repair the skin barrier, which is often compromised in conditions like eczema and psoriasis. Because it's just three natural ingredients with no synthetic chemicals or fragrances (in the unscented version), there's nothing to irritate sensitive skin.

That said, everyone's skin is different. Start with a small test patch and see how your skin responds.

Tallow is one of the gentlest, most skin-compatible ingredients available because its fatty acid profile closely matches your skin's natural oils.

Tallow is shelf-stable and vitamin E acts as a natural preservative. It won't go rancid like some plant oils can.

Note: In very hot weather (25°C+), tallow can soften or even melt slightly. This is totally normal and doesn't affect quality. If it melts, just let it cool and solidify again, it'll be fine. 

In cold weather, it might firm up more. Just warm it between your fingers as usual.
